FAI Hang Gliding and Paragliding Commission (CIVL)

The equalizers are the special type of paragliding sports equipment used in the cross country competitions. 

They are the small tubes of various length attached to the lines to compensate for the wing size difference.

The use of equalizers is allowed by Section 7 of FAI Sporting code.

The image below is a sample of how the attached equalizers like like (colour and length may vary).

At the events where the equalisers are in use the organisers and / or CiVL will deliver / provide them.
