The 14th FAI World Paragliding Accuracy Championships will take place from February 13 to 21, 2027, in Pha Tak Suea, Nong Khai, Thailand. The event is organised by the Royal Aeronautic Sports Association of Thailand (RASAT) in collaboration with Nong Khai Province and the Nong Khai Flying Club. It is supported by the Government of Thailand, the Sports Authority of Thailand, and the local authorities of Nong Khai Province.

Pha Tak has hosted several major paragliding accuracy events, including the Paragliding Accuracy World Cups, AFA Asian League, and ASEAN Friendships Open. In 2026, the city will also host the 5th FAI Asian Paragliding Accuracy Championships.

Pha Tak Suea is located in Sangkhom District, Nong Khai Province, just 126 km from Udon Thani International Airport. The scenic flying site sits on a hilltop overlooking the Mekong River and is a popular tourist attraction. Paragliding at this location has gained popularity year-round due to its safe and good flying conditions.

The competition headquarters will be at Baan Mai Rim Khong Resort, situated in the heart of Sangkhom District, right next to the Mekong River and just a five-minute drive from the landing area, market, and hospital. Athletes will be accommodated at the Wixky Hotel, BergKhong Resort, and Paweena Hotel.

The typical weather in January and February features a headwind at the launch site, providing ideal conditions for a Paragliding Accuracy competition to run smoothly and continuously. Thermal activity is usually mild to moderate, with strong thermals being rare.
