After an intense contest held deep within the unique atmosphere of the Slănic Prahova underground salt mine, the Romanian home team triumphed at the FAI F1D European Championships for Indoor Model Aircraft which was held from 24-27 November 2025.
Since the age of nine, Croatia's Marko Damjanović has been quietly working his way to the top in F3K Model Gliding competitions. Through his persistence, dedication, and attitude toward learning from his mistakes, he became Junior World Champion at the 2019 FAI F3K World Championship for Model Gliders in Hungary.
Competitors at the 2025 FAI F3A World Championship for Aerobatic Model Aircraft enjoyed the first class facilities at the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) National Flying Site in Muncie, Indiana. From 9 to 16 August, 62 model aircraft pilots from across the globe showcased their talents on this exceptional stage.
