The FAI has launched three dedicated social media channels for drones, in order to promote and share the developments, competitions, news and activities within this rapidly-growing area of airsports.

FAI and Australian giant drone racing team Freespace Drone Racing have agreed to extend their coordinated efforts in the development of drone racing as a global sport.
The two organisations have signed a memorandum of understanding that recognises the significant progress made by each party and outlines a three-year plan to integrate two giant drone classes into the FAI drone racing calendar.
As a proud International Olympic Committee (IOC) Recognised International Sports Federation, the FAI joins sporting organisations around the world in celebrating Olympic Day - an international initiative designed to promote fitness and wellbeing, as well as the Olympic ideals of Fair Play, Perseverance, Respect and Sportsmanship.
Introduced in 1948 to commemorate the birth of the modern Olympic Games on June 23, 1894, Olympic Day promotes participation in sports of all kinds regardless of age, gender or athletic ability.
