Webinar 19 October: Introduction to Fly Clean
The FAI Fly Clean webinar series begins on Wednesday 19 October 2022 with an ‘Introduction to Fly Clean’. Hosted by Kamila Vokoun Hajkova, FAI’s dedicated Anti-Doping Manager, the webinar will outline the importance of fair play in air sports, and the role of the FAI anti-doping programme with regards to how testing affects athletes’ routines and helps to embed positive values within their sport.
The subject of doping in sport can often be confusing, with a lot of rules and regulations. This webinar, which is aimed at anyone in the air sports community, will provide a useful introduction to those negotiating the information and the expectations, as well as including values-based education for participants, to help promote and explain the values of respect and solidarity within the air sports community.
This webinar, first in a series of three in 2022, will be useful for coaches and athletes as well as their entourage, to learn what a commitment to ‘fly clean’ means for the individual and their team. It will also be a good opportunity for the parents of junior athletes to understand what clean sport means, when thinking about their children’s future as a competitor.
For event organisers and national aero clubs, the introductory webinar will give information which will help support their athletes and ensure fairness when it comes to competition. The host and speaker will share their expertise and guidance on how to provide a service which includes advice and education to help diffuse positive messaging around clean sport, as well as complying with testing requirements.

FAI and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)
FAI became a WADA signatory in 2011. This implies commitments for in-competition testing, out of competition testing and education which are included within FAI’s Fly Clean Programme.
FAI’s anti-doping rules are based on the WADA template ‘Model Rules for International Federations’. Our compliance is audited annually and non-compliance has serious consequences.
