Registration open for the 2025 FAI Italy e-Drone Racing World Cup
The second event of the FAI E-Drone Racing World Cup season 2025 is now open for registration! The event - called "2025 FAI Italy e-Drone Racing World Cup" - will take place on 20 September.
The track for this event will be the same track used for the live FAI drone racing event in Italy earlier this year.
How to participate
Registration remains open until the 11 September 23:59 UTC, so pilots can try out the track, register and get qualified for the competition on 20 September.
For this event, the drone is restricted to one model (standard), with its default settings. Just as in 2024, open registration and qualification will allow pilots to race at home whenever they want. But unlike last year, the competition stages will last 1 day (usually a Saturday) where both stages of competition will happen. There will be 8-person heats for the first stage, and 4-person heats for the second stage.
The competition will be live-streamed on Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, and directly on EreaDrone's website.

About the FAI E-Drone Racing World Cup Series
The FAI E-Drone Racing World Cup began in 2024. Pilots can participate from home ('Remote' piloting) with a game controller on a Windows computer with a stable internet connection, having registered and logged in via the EreaDrone website.
The best placed pilots in the World Cup ranking will be awarded the title of 2025 E-Drone Racing World Cup champion, and FAI Aeromodelling Commission (CIAM) medals and diplomas will be awarded to the three best placed.
For the seven events in the 2025 World Cup, a few will revisit and celebrate notable tracks in the sport's history, but for other events, new and original tracks will be used.
