This year's competition is the largest speed competition ever, with 61 participants from 11 countries. 18 of the participants are women, which is also the most ever. The competition is predicted to be the fastest ever and it is likely that new continental and world records will be broken. The starting field also contains many possible fights where it will be even for most of the positions. 
There are many who will fight for the top positions on both the men's and women's side. We will know more about this after the first rounds are done.

Today we are starting the competition, preliminary take off for the first lift is 09:15. In the evening the official opening will take place. A slightly odd arrangement perhaps, but the weather forecast looks like this for the week so you want to do everything possible to be able to have a complete competition. However, one jump is enough to crown a champion.
