Opening Ceremony and 1st Competition day

On Saturday 25th October the Aero Sports Federation of China impressively showed that they are excellent organisers of FAI First Category Skydiving events. 
The first load had wheels off the runway at 08:00 sharp and the training round with one accuracy jump for every competitor was completed quickly. Then a male team accuracy round immediately followed before the break to the Opening Ceremony. With such efficient flight operations and flawless manifest operation all the competition rounds can be completed in good time (if weather permits of course).

The Official Opening Ceremony was started right after with traditional dance exhibition from Chinese history. Then at 11:00 the official part of FAI protocol was followed with FAI anthem and some speeches and after the oath of athletes and officials the the Governor of the Province Jiangxi, Mr. Shi Ke declared the 16th FAI World Cup and 1st FAI Asian Championships of Style an Accuracy Landing open. The official ceremony was concluded with a firework followed by a Paramotor and Skydiving airshow.

In the afternoon the competition was continued and due to increasing wind speed the Freefall Style competition was started. But soon the cloud base did not allow further Style jumps, so Accuracy continued as the wind was within the limits until the end of the day. In total 3 rounds of Accuracy could be completed for all male and female teams and individual participants. 

The current leader in male Team Accuracy is the team of UAE in front of Germany and China. All results are online at Airshots result site and the official result lists are uploaded to the ISC/FAI result portal. The schedule for Sunday 26th will be breakfast at 06:00 departure from the hotel at 06:50 and first take-off at 08:00 with competition until sunset.
